Didn't we say "Don't Mess With Texas!" Texas AG scores again

A Travis County District Court ruled on cross-motions for summary judgment yesterday that, among other things, the Texas Medicaid Fraud Prevention Act (TMFPA) does not require proof of “causation” or reliance.  Moreover, other defenses found in the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure do not apply to the TMFPA.  Ray Winter and his assistant attorneys general are doing great work protecting the Texas Medicaid Program from fraud.
